My characters have come to my rescue on more than one occasion. Cyrus has always provided me with reality checks and wakeup calls; Adrianna was always there with encouragement when I needed just a little more oomph; Niall's patience and innate wisdom have spared me many a painful mistake; Allyssa's sympathy and unconditional love have soothed some of my deepest wounds; lastly, Stone's practicality and down-to-earth common sense, his politeness and kindness... have all been a major inspiration for who I hope I'll be.
Maybe I'm taking this out of context, but they have been there for me.
