Imperial heavy Armored Cavalry – Leopard 2A4 MBT
Just as with Clerian’s Jeep drawing this is another piece of art that makes me enormously proud. The level of detail and precision of this drawing required me to invest almost 2 weeks of intensive work. And this is not the finished drawing since I will publish a version later that includes soldier dragons accompanying the tank, a special version celebrating a victory.
Maybe I will print a poster of this drawing in the future since now I have access to a huge printer.
This is a Leopard 2A4 from the Helad Imperial army (also know as The Legion). The empire of Helad is a coalition of allied countries that works similarly to the European Union The empire is made mainly of white dragons that have united in order to defend themselves from the dark dragons. These are their enemies since ancient times.
This gigantic 70-ton tank is equipped with a Rheinmetall L44 120mm cannon capable of firing piercing, explosive or fire piercing ammo. As secondary weapons it has a Browning 12.7mm x 108mm machine gun, two MG3 de 7.92mm x 57mm machine guns as well as a group of 76mm grenade launchers. Even with that weight the tank can reach speeds of up to 70 Km/h thanks to strong powertrain.
The Leopard 2A4 is the spearhead of the legion, practically uncontested against the dark dragon units. This unit belongs to the shock troops specialized in urban combat deep down enemy territory.

So you took a real world tank into a modern fantasy world and only the A4, not the A6 with the L55 and additional turret armor or at least the A5 with its additional turret armor?

My feral dragon has a pretty curious armor, he has a thick initial plate that grew on scales, then he has thick muscles and fat.

Debo dejar de escucharlas que despierto tarareándolas. El tanque no me costó tanto, el problema es que luego dibujé a dragones soldados y ahí pasé de una semana normal de dibujo a casi 2. Pero vale la pena ehehe, el tiempo es una inversión para mí. Mejor calidad que cantidad~
