A civilization thought that it was beyond such superstitious nonsense as magic. Porter took exception to that and decided to show them the error of their ways.

That civilization enhanced the size of a few of their citizens to challenge Porter, but he shrank them with his magic and teleported them into his living room. If you want to know whether their growth tech or Porter’s shrinking magic was stronger, well, those people are the ones now fleeing in through the carpet fabric in front of Porter.
