Shen, a commoner blacksmith, makes all sort of beautiful works of art from the blacksmith using material found on the ocean floor or in recent wrecks from the surface world that help provide the mertiger with materials needed to make the items he crafted. Whenever he isn't working at his forge, he would be out exploring the vast sea and travel up to the surface to see what else he can find or observe. He often found himself in the company of the younger royal merwolves of Poseidon, though they too have the same interest as him when it comes to exploring the waters around their city and such, when they found a material that can be used; Shen would craft an item and send it to the palace as a gift to the young royal siblings of the exploration they made.

Always curious and a fondness of creating art through blacksmith, Shen is a unique mertiger who always looking for new adventures when not working at his forge.
