From  RyokoNoKalo of a merwolf royal guard of Poseidon known as the 'Night Warrior'

Shadow, a merwolf from Northern sea, is a unique merwolf is that he almost look like a merwolca due to the fur pattern. He travel to the Kingdom of Poseidon and took part to become a guard of the kingdom. During a skirmish with the Abyss Empire, Shadow used the shadows of the depths and the night of the sea to his advantage as he strike from the darkness causing chaos within the Empire's rank that they were force to retreat. Shadow used his magical gift to turn himself invisible to get pass unnoticed though for a short time as it does drain away his mana. Seeing this, Battlemaster Robert gave him the title of Royal Guard as he sees his talent great need for the Royal Guard.

Shadow always were a bracelet made of seashells from his little sister back home in the Northern Sea, a gift before he went off to join the Poseidon Guards. Now a Royal Guard, he couldn't wait to tell his family in the Northern Sea of his new title and position within the great kingdom of Poseidon.
