This is my mill, affectionately known as millruto (i know its dorky, lol). i can take your 3d models and mill em in just about any material. i use it primarily to make our yiffy toys, but i also use it to make suit parts as well. if anyone out there does 3d modeling and wants something milled out, drop me a line.

Ah, I THOUGHT I was seeing a 4th axis on that, but because you had a half cocked cock in that one photo, I thought you might not have had it, and so was thinking maybe it was just a part holder and not a 4th axis. SHWEET. :) Can you mill aluminum? I have some aluminum parts I'd like to have made, but I have not had the time to put them into a cad program, I *DO* have some mechanical drawings. They are fairly simple, but have cuts that need to be made on 4 sides, sadly, not in a way that lets you use a 4th axis.
i can mill aluminum on it. depending on the shape of the 4 sided part i can sometimes get real creative with the center axis. if its cube shaped it can always be milled with the center axis going from corner to corner so it can actually mill all 4 sides with tinny sprews on 2 corners, lol...if that makes any sense.
Its cube shaped, but it has through holes in it, you'd need a fifth or sixth axis to change the angle of the tool itself, me thinks. But yup, I can picture that!! Yeah, no matter how I try to picture holding it on the corners, I wind up with one set of holes going in at an angle. :P if it was just surface milling, that would work good though.
in that case it would need to be done on the table (3 axis) and indexed. so it can still be done....the complexity would totally depend on how tight you need the tolerance on it. but if you ever get your model done, shoot it too me and i'll take a look and let ya know if i can do it for ya.
