I hereby swear that I am no longer going to bring home any more birds while I live in my parents' house. Even when I move out, I will try to only keep three or less birds. (I'll need help making sure that I stay true to that last one.)
My completed flock; Gem (budgie), Tango (budgie), and Riddle (peach faced lovebird).
Meet Riddle! :) I'll have to get a DNA test to find out the gender, but he's super sweet and quite the character. He was the one the breeder showed off at the bird fair. To her surprise, no one wanted to take him home. It's funny because I was thinking if she still had him later on, I'd gladly take him. So it was pretty cool that I got to do just that.
Regarding the picture: I'm pretty terrible with cameras, and naturally I caught Riddle with his eyes closed. I'm so awesome like that y'know.

That's right. Usually mixing any species of bird isn't a good idea. But there are cases, such as yours, that get along well. If you can, get them to eat pellets and fresh veggies as well, because seeds are pretty much like candy for birds.
The larger cage would be great for them. Just make sure to look out for any signs of fights. Sometimes if one gets territorial, like a nesty hen, she can do damage to her cage mate.

I don't think you'll have much to worry about. Umm, as for pellets, there's plenty of brands you could order online. But from what I've gathered, avi-cakes and nutriberries are pretty good alternatives. The avi-cakes have pellets and seed (50-50 mix) and you can even use it as a meal. A lovebird aviary mentioned that they feed one of each of those to their lovebirds as well as their cockatiel. Bloody expensive, but it makes feeding time way easier.
Awww, that's good that they get along so well though. :3

Oh, the high-pitched peep noise they make? I didn't even know they had that vocalization until Riddle started doing it right next to my ear. It's really not that often though. I can't stop loving him even through his 'faults'.
He likes them too. But he loves being out of his cage even more.
