All creatures who live long enough have things they regret. Even more so for creatures who lifespans persevere past mortal comprehension. Whether we evolve beyond our regrets, its ultimately up to us. We can look back and fear, we can look forward and forget, we can remain in stasis, or perhaps we can learn from the past. Thought sometimes creatures of grandeur may look perfect to their beholders, in truth even demi-gods have their moments of solemn contemplation.
