Note: if a lineart has a nonwhite bg you need to save it to your computer and then open it
if you copy paste it will make the entire image black.
Also if the art has a white BG swap the lineart layer to 'multiply' and draw under that!

I will admit, when j was coming up with this current me, I had a written description and was using flightrising's color selection to help myself.... http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24529175/ Will admit I loved how my friend came up with a visual for me via the text description.
Just stumbled upon this in my friends faves.
I completely agree with this.
I cringe a little inside when given a shaded reference sheet and refuse to draw shaded reference sheets for clients that ask for them from me.
It can be so hard to discern colors in reference sheets when they are shaded.
Especially when its someone shading black with black.
