Chloe is a private and paranormal investigator specialising more into the latter. She used to have a partner and team to conduct the paranormal investigations but after her partner mysteriously went missing and her team left she's gone solo, trying to find her missing partner and what happened to them.

She soon found out working solo may not have been the best idea when she found herself in over her head during a poltergeist investigation and ended up being haunted by a spirit named Umbra. Though the spirit has become more of a partner these days, unpredictable most of the time and often violent Umbra has been useful nontheless during her investigations.
