This piece was one I commissioned early in 2018, shortly after my parents had both passed away. It's an illustration of the feeling at the time that we all continue on alone, but never completely alone. Everyone carries a light, and while at times it may seem people are distant, that you stand in the barren land by yourself, the lights that hover on the horizon are other people just like you.
The ideas are less clear now, I think, it felt rather profound at the time but now perhaps not so much. Kaji did an amazing job on this piece, though, bringing in the feelings of oppressive looming darkness, the unsettled angle, the faint lights in the background.
No matter how you feel about the lights on the horizon, be it hope or isolation, remember that your own light may provide hope and guidance to another you can only barely see.
If you want to comment on the art itself, Kaji's got it up - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/27922058/
