In remembrance of those who give their lives - in New York City, Washington D.C., and Somerset County, Pennsylvania - a special memorial in Coral Springs, Florida was unveiled on September 11, 2004 (three years to the day of the tragedy that is known as "9-11" - now called Patriot Day).
Said memorial was placed in front of the Coral Springs Public Library, located right next to the spot where a special Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial would also be assembled and displayed for the masses. (I took this 'photo-op' in mid-January, 2018 - around the time of MLK Day - with the camera feature of a digital device.) Atop the tablet with the memorial plaque in front (left) is a portion of one of the twin towers of the World Trade Center (which fell down on that faithful day). A separate tablet (right) features an illustration of the three locations that were affected by the events of "9-11").
I'll have one more 'photo-op' of this particular memorial (taken on Patriot Day, 2018) shortly. (And you can see pix of the MLK Memorial - taken back in January - in the early portion my 'Scraps' section.)
