Chameleon is known for being one of those villain's minions that no one can take seriously, especially King Sethrophe...and this proves to be a big mistake. Pray that it won't be his last.

UPDATE: Added snake skin loin clothes to both Sethrophe and Chameleon.

It's not meant to be derogatory. He's just calling him by what he identifyed Cameleon as. He doesn't yet know his name or species, but does recognise his reptilian features.

Sethrophe won't enjoy this -- Chameleon's shapeshifting includes mass, strength and speed of what he's imitating. His superior skills will doubtless give Sethrophe the win -- Chameleon is better utilized as a spy than a combatant -- but he'll likely be a bit bruised.
