After its release a couple of years ago, many people asked me if this was a September the 11th tribute. It was certainly inspired by it, but it isn't as simple as that - it's meant to make people also think about the actions taken in retaliation to those events, and the killing on either side of the ongoing religious conflict.
This isn't one of my personal favourites, but perhaps because of the implied meaning of the song, this was by far my fastest-downloaded song at this time, climbing steadily to be the first to reach over 1500 downloads. It was also entered in to the tracking scene's "Monthly Invitational Compo" ( http://www.novusmusic.org/mic/results.html ), where it came in dead last in tenth place. But I think the invitation at least says something.
It has a slightly more aggressive tone in both the lyrics and music than usual, putting more emphasis on the rhythm guitar instrument.

That's right, I unfortunately can't play the guitar well enough to actually perform my own songs as yet. As for the vocals, I've tried a couple of times to fit my own voice to my music and the results have been pretty disastrous. Perhaps learning to use a vocoder is in order.
