Yeah. It's not even necessarily a 'grunge' look, the 80s and 90s had stuff with a lot of random pannels, fluff, and sharp angles. Wheras the current design is aerodynamic and minimalist.
I dig it, but I can tell in about a decade all the Apple stuff will look RIDICULOUSLY dated XD
