My take on Smaug from the old Rankin&Bass film, The Hobbit.
He was my favorite; well, besides Bryagh from The Flight of Dragons by the same company.
I actually sketched this last year; just playing around with digital inking on how I want to designate the difference between it and traditional. I think its mostly just the detail work in traditional that is far more fluid for me.
Plan on coloring him at some point so; there is that.
