It is completed! But this is a bad picture. Oh well, I will take better pictures of my buck later when he is home. Right now, he is stuck at school.
Materials:
-Newpaper
-English Workbooks
-Plastic Cup
-Lots of Wire Hangers
-Cardboard
-Plastic Bags
-Dr.Pepper Cans
-Hot Glue
-Cardstock
-Papermache
-Cottonballs
Okay, just to explain the buck and how it was made briefly:
1) Three plastic bags filled with balled up newspaper counts as the innards and created teh basic shape.
2) A wire cage made from wire hangers surrounds those bags and keeps them sturdy and firm. So it doesn't fall in on itself.
3) Layers of Papermache cover the wire and "innards", giving it shape and a hard outer shell.
4) Each leg was made individually. Wire was bent and molded then covered in layers of papermache and cardstock to give support. About 8 hangers used in each leg.
5) Head was made separately. Antlers are made from wire hangers which were hand bent and twisted. Ears are made from Dr.Pepper cans. Muzzle is made from plastic cup. Cardboard is shaped and glued in peices to create shape.
6) The tail was made seperately. It is made from a Dr. Pepper Can I cut in half then molded. The underside of the tail is filled with cottonballs, some pulled a part and glued in in layers to create a ruffled appearance.
7) Head was connected using an extra wire and then large peices of left over cardboard and papermache.
So, yeah, there is the summary. Once I have a better picture, like form the side and rear, I will post it.
