On this episode of 'Remy takes an art prompt way too seriously'.. The number 16 on the list was Marcii the Owl(blue hair), emotion nostalgia/wist, and the colour grey. Now I realize since I included Relic in this and she is grey, I could've just cheated and drawn the dreaming marcii in colour, but I had the idea of doing greyscale even before the scene popped into my head. (Tho I'm probably making a standalone full colour of that pose) . Then while I was cleaning, the song Return by Alexander Rybak popped into my head and it fit PERFECTLY with the prompt, so I used that as inspiration. This is Marcii Moon and her sister Relic. Relic went off to war or whatever, and Marcii, just waiting for her return in their tree, reminiscing the fun times they've had together.

Collectively this probably took about 5 hours, maybe longer(RELIC'S LINEART TOOK FOREVER AND IT STILL SUCKS I drew the head like 10 times) but I love how the marcii's turned out.

Happily taking shading tips!!!!!

Will probably redo this if I have the time since I've gotten a teensy bit better at drawing wings.
