Jace slept in as it was Saturday and he had no obligations that day, so there was no motivation to get up.
It was cold, making him even less willing to get up as the warm blankets of his bed pulled him in, almost like gravity.
He spent all morning and even part of the afternoon in bed, finally sitting up, still groggy as he greeted the day.Nothing like hanging about in comfy clothes on a day off.
