First and only commission I got at FA:U 2018 Artist Alley, this one is of
conquest, aka 'Fluf-God having himself a grand old time at a paaaaar-taaaayyy!. With spewing booze and a bottle of Jäger on standby to go with all that pizza and loud music. Apparently his character is an expy of Five Nights at Freddy's Foxy.
Technical:
A simple inked con sketch that could have been pretty difficult, till I stumbled upon an immensely useful resource called Clara.io, which is a browser-based 3D modeling program. (I just found that out as I was writing this). In the artist alley, the Hyatt's free wifi did not reach, and I had to look up references on my phone. Stumbling across Clara.io while looking for Foxy references presented me with the absolutely clearest image of Foxy that I could hope for. The unexpected bonus was that the Foxy image was a 3D model in the site's repository that I could rotate in any direction inside the smartphone web browser. So my version of Foxy came out about as accurate as can be. Without his ratty pirate costume to obscure all that mechanical detail. Other than this, I have not drawn anything FNAF-related though. For display on FA I cleaned up my scan of the original, re-positioning some text and re-drawing others for clarity.
I didn't look at anything else on Clara.io, and so didn't know it was a full-blown 3D modeling application (albeit browser-based) until I went to its homepage to link it here, which is a bit of a strange coincidence, as I had just went looking for a download for the free version of SketchUp, another 3D modeling program, only to discover it had transformed into a browser-based application (I was actually looking for SketchUp Make, which is still freely downloadable from Trimble, but no newer versions will be released after the 2017 edition--the only further development will occur on the cloud-based version)
