And last but certainly not least for this week, a partial background commission for featuring his character Malarin, a shapeshifting fae who likes to keep watch over the forest. She normally wears a human form, but she appears here in her fox form.

The background for this was heavily inspired by the art of Eyvind Earle, best known to me for his work on the backgrounds of Disney's Sleeping Beauty. I have only somewhat recently been introduced to his style but I am definitely quite taken by it - I just adore that stylized, geometric look and its something I've already been trying to carry into my own art ever since seeing The Secret of Kells a few years ago. I would love to do more like this!
