To answer that question adequately would require first level-setting the difference between sex and gender.=) We can probably discuss that directly/in-private if you would like.

But for the short answer: not all succubats are female, they're just more prevalent. Succubat Vy is not a girl...he's just a little femmy. =)

Thanks for the clarification. It's just that most of the tfs I've seen involving the succubats have shown male subjects becoming female as the succubat bonded with them. Looking forward to seeing how these two keep up their relationship, now that they're together again. Seriously, I loved your characterization for Vy and his girl both. They were incredible.

It's true that most commissioners have asked for that result, though there have been a few more masculine symbionts recently. There's also the confusion from the term "succubats" which suggests "succubus" which has a largely feminine connotation.
