Enorach found himself fighting against a fully armored knight, and it seems that after a nice brawl he managed to pin him down in an extremely uncomfortable situation. I usually draw him as a cute kitten, but Enorach can be quite a dangerous opponent in battle!
The most likely outcome is the knight will surrender, and then spend the next few weeks in company of Enorach and Lars, while waiting for his noble family to pay a ransom to have him back. After that, Enorach will spend all his money drinking and whoring while Lars will probably try to invest in some more lucrative businesses and pay the bills. Lars will also keep the suit of armor if it fits him, or sell it if it doesn't. Typical sellsword life.
In case you are wondering why Enorach's swords are still sheathed, he preferred to face the knight using his flanged mace (there on the ground), a new weapon I decided to give him in recent times.

this wouldn't happen to be a sequel to this now: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/27869154/
would it?
would it?
ouuh, that armour would cost enough to allow Enorach to buy his home village... and have some change left for beer.
that mace would be more effective against the full plate, anyway. dent it, smack in where there is only chains, and wait until it falls off. also, it's a bit faster than a longsword.
that knight looks far from being dented in, I guess he deserves to be brought down by a kitty. :)

Awesome artwork (as i already expect from you) i'm always impressed on how many details you manage to put in a drawing using traditional techniques (something i really love about your art), i really appreciate specially the accuracy of how weapons work against armor and the way how they are drawn here, also the medieval setting by itself is always a plus to me, congrats for the great work!
You're welcome! Also, it certainly is, and to write about medieval things as well, i'm even writing a fantasy novel in a medieval setting (i know that saying it like that sounds very cliche but i'm avoiding things that are already way too common in this genre like elves, dwarfs, dragons and such) the book is not finished yet but it's very close to actually ready, i'm even planning on putting some illustrations on it (wich i will draw all by myself)!
Overall i'm having tons of fun working on it!

EYE SEE YOU! Love how Enorach's controlling the knight's hand with his foot, attention to details can save your life in a battle! Lovely sheen effect on their armor and shading as well! Your description is excellent, kind of an aimless, paw-to-mouth existence, depending on luck as much as on skill.
What the FUCK, this is MAGNIFICENT!
You put so much detail into the armor and everything! I had forgotten about this scene you mentioned, hoooo boy was it worth the wait!
Every little detail, there is so much to see here, and those types pf maces are particularly good at armor penetration.
I love how dark you made the knights armor with gold trim, and Eno's outfit looks fantastic, makes him look like a real, rag tag mercenary.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Sorry, I didn't think it possible, but now I find you even more epic.
Kess wexx?
Gwaaar en aaaar et feeeela!
I absolutely LOVE there language and accents, it's like German/Italian/Spanish all mixed together, as well as there outfits and stiles!
And I simply ADORE the heavy armor soldiers and officers with the standard and winged helmets! It's like the wings of Polish hussars, but as little, very fashionable helmet decorations!
I love some parts Tamaria, for poor king Foltest, who I was a huge fan of, but under Emperor CHARLES DANCE (Big fan) I think Nilfgaard can do a lot of good, and bring unity and fairness to a wild, troubled, and cruel world... Maybe even, peace.
There is a option to have Tamaria restored, as a vassal state to Nilfgaard, like the Dutchy of Tuscon.

You speak Nilfgaardian?? XD
Yeah, they are really well done! Reminded me of a mix of german and Danish, personally. The inspiration is obviously the Holy Roman Empire.
I have yet to play Witcher 3, so no spoilers! XD I'm still at the beginning of Witcher 2, and just finished the first chapter with the Kayran. I'm loving it so far, we need more games with realistic fantasy and great stories to tell!
I'm honestly not sure what would be better, if a free North or having it under Nilfgaardian domain. Nilfgaard would bring peace, but at the same time they still practice slavery and treat like crap anyone who is not a "real" Nilfgaardian. On the other hand, northern monarchs generally suck and constantly wage wars against each other, not to mention they treat non-humans even worse than Nilfgaardians do.
Hard choices... I love these games! XD

Heh, you're in for a BIG surprise.
Well as a matter of fact, Nilfgaardian is based on the old elf tongue, but is in FACT, more Dutch in it's current form, so you were spot on there.
I am not sure of the spelling, but I was going off sound, as you run into a LOT of Nilfgaardian soldiers who are neutral to you.
I forgot what "Kess wexx." meant, but I think it's a form of "What do you need?" But I do know that the second line, "Gwaar en arr et feela." is "Glory to the great sun!" as the Nilfgaardians worship a sun deity and is represented on there banners.
Well, without giving you any spoilers, under the ruthless, but pragmatic emperor Emhyr, non humans are VERY well treated, and people they conquer, are sorta absorbed into the Nilfgaardian collective, either through complete conquest and new rule, slowly absorbing the locals, or allowing them to live freely, as a vassal state, paying tribute to Nilfgaard in the form of resources, manpower, taxes, etc.
I am not sure, but it seems Emhyr did away with slavery. Conquered nations under Nilfgaard, in all honesty, seem to live FAR better than most people in real life, after being conquered, as well as the Witcher lore. In Witcher 3, you get to see it first hand, all the horror of war and post conquest, huge numbers of lynchings. Nilfgaardians LOVE there hangings, but there under "War time rules." that means, they have ZERO tolerance for just about anything, including from there own men, and they are super focused on discipline... Witch reminds me of Germany.
But very simple things, under "War time law" will be met with severe lashings, if a officer deems it as a purposely detrimental act to hinder Nilfgaard, like stealing a piece of bread from a Nilfgaardian soldier.
But mostly, it's hangings. And BOY do they hang a LOT of people. They don't play around, they catch you doing something, and there under "War time law" the gallows may be your next, and final step.
But, all this, seems to be from a mind of forced order, cooperation, and discipline, rather than out of barbaric cruelty. Now in the BOOKS, old Nilfgaard, butchered magic users, but currently, Nilgaard has lightened up on them, and under Emhyr, mages can do as they please, WITHIN REASON, and I feel that is a good thing. With his laws, he limits immoral and sinister acts, as well as extremely dangerous rituals.
So in all, Emhyr has a cold, mechanical mind, that is bent on controlling everything, BUT, when he does control it, he can be very fair handed. Nilfgaard has never been as powerful as it has under Emhyr, or as vast. Nothing seems to be able to slow his advance, and I am very eager for the next installment, to see the canon route.
Here is a fantastic video about them, and it doesn't give away any spoilers!

The Nilfgaardians also had a brigade, known as the "Vrihedd brigade" a legion of non humans, primarily elves. Eredin killed a large number of these elves at one point, and Lorveth used to be a member of the Vrihedd. So the north may despise elves, Nilfgaard, under Emhyr, has seen fit to, again, treat them fairly, and far better than most human rulers.

S'truth. I've tried designing ballistic armor for the head, that encompasses the face completely. And since it HAS to open and have a means of viewing for actually effectiveness. Unless it's 100% heavily housed, with shielded electronics which again <destroy the air supply> There's no means of not making that pointy little stabby dagger not effective
And apparently I've something in common with Lars

Wow, this is stunning! You even added a historically correct dagger with the historically correct way of fighting in armor ("Harnischfechten"), by showing the piercing in the unprotected part of the visor of the helmet with the dagger. I simply love the fact that you even added a "Seitenwehr" from the same period. Well done!
