Hi folks,
I finally got around to making an introduction video for my Patreon page, but instead of just recording myself, I decided to present it as my Taurin character =)
This is my first time animating dialogue and I made use of my new motion capture system for the production. I think it came out incredibly well ^.^

That looks awesome! The motion capture was really fluid, even regarding your expressions and mouth movements as well :3 Made your sona look even more "believable", let's say. Neat!
I also really approve your future ideas of eventually managing to have an animation studio, as I'm sure that with help of writers and other animators, you could end up making some really big stuff; perhaps both SFW and NSFW animated movies even.
I mean, it'd be really nice if we started having even more 3D animated movies with animals nowadays, like Zootopia, for example, but targeted even more at the furry fandom. Movies including ferals, or maybe using more furry references, and of course, there could be those with a more adult theme. Not that a whole movie should be non-stop mating and sex, but it could have these parts as well. And the quality of your animation has really improved as well, since your sona was looking and moving really nicely in this short vid.

That is amazing! Beautiful model and the motion capture is awesome! Your animations have always been amongst my favorites for many many years (I think taurin and the yiffing machine was the first one I saw) and with every one I can see more and more improvements. Always loved seeing your animations and bought one of your DVDs a while back so it's awesome to see that you're still making content and working with new systems. Excited to see what you'll be making!
I use a Rokoko Smartsuit Pro. I wasn't even aware of the Perception Neuron, but I just looked it up, and it appears to be a VERY similar system. They both use body sensors in similar locations, powered by a USB battery pack. The Neuron seems to be about $1000 cheaper, so it's probably a better option for entry-level mocap. Aside from that, and the fact that the Smartsuit is self-contained in a body suit that you just slip on, I'm not sure what the differences are. XD My main reason for going with the Smartsuit was based on a recommendation from a friend who is using it for game development.
Yep, that one that you use seems, in a 15 minutes frenetic research, to worth that extra $1000, but, at professional level, price is a secondary thing (also because the Neuron sensors have a bad habit to back easily for what I've heard). Also I'm curious, if you'll ever have the need to buy one, what will be your experience with one of those head mounted face mocap
