Edit: CHARACTER IS SOLD!
This is part of a character auction I'm going to be putting up soon (probably later this weekish). I feel like it deserves its own place because a lot of work went into it. T___T; Yes, all the fur was drawn by hand. Yes, so were all the little details. Yes, it was every bit as tedious and laborious as it looks. I don't know if my auction style (highly detailed) will sell well but I'm hoping it does because character creation is literally my favorite part of being an artist.
Zbrush/Photoshop/Keyshot. MANY hours. Too many. -ded-

Damn this is impressive! I've never seen a character to be auctioned with so much detail having been put into it! Honestly, my grabby hands would love this one, but, need to restrain myself and I could never put in a bid that would in my opinion by worthy.
So just want to wish you a whole lot of luck when she goes up for sale!

That there is a very difficult question. :D
Starting bid? I'd say $100 minimum. I'd have liked to have said $150 but as a starting bid that may put off a few bidders, and it's a good idea to get a few at the beginning to help drive up the price, rather than having everyone sitting around waiting towards the end to put on the minimum bid. :D
If you want to also include a buy-out bid I'd have to say somewhere in the $250-$300 region. I mean when I say I'm impressed, I really AM impressed!

So like everyone else here, this is incredible work and the best character detail yet! And quite frankly this does show you've mastered both 3d and 2d manipulations. And I agree, you would be great at character design with this level of skill. Do you know that you've hit that level I consider "masamune shiro" inspired and skill level with character design? It means to me, that you have HIT that kind of master level. Now lets see it become a sensation too! I hope the auction goes incredibly well! This is well worth a few hundred dollars with the amount of detail and work you've put in on the design. *Hugs* I'm rootin' for the best for you :). NEVER STOP! XD
This is the kind of art I live for. I have a traditional background and utilize that in my digital art. I really admire it when I see traditional methods within digital programs from others as well. It offers something more substantial that I believe serious art lovers understand. You captured ambient lighting just right, and the textures feel tangible. I feel like I could hand-pick the fabric and replicate the look by imagining what it may feel like. The eyes are large but don't make me think "Balto" style. The subtle motion blur is such a cool touch; I noticed it as an after thought, but it felt right.
Alas, this was a while ago and she's already sold. I should have posted that in the comments here. Sorry. Still new to this whole character idea. There is another auction going on currently though. You may be interested if you like cute chubby mouse girls. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/28856099/
