Aaah look at this! Art from meee! Now, what seems to be a personal tradition for me is any time I get a new bit of drawing kit, I always start with Sonic. He's my go to for drawing as I can remember drawing him as far back as I can. This time its me practising on a Drawing Monitor! Rather than spending several grand on the top branded stuff, this was all done of the XP-PEN Artist 22e, a budget version, which IMO despite never working on a high budget drawing monitor other than my Surface Pro 4, was amazing! Colour is good, and overall drawing felt really good, so expect to see more from me, I hope!

God damn, I might not call this thing a budget device. I got a Wacom Cintiq with a 13" screen, which cost me over 800€ few years back, you got a huge 22" screen, and while the thing is far cheaper than the way smaller Wacom, it's still pretty pricey. Without having tried that one out and compared to a Wacom, by checking the specs I think this is a very sweet device, which might definately be as good as my Cintiq. Maybe better. I got this monitor tablet now for 4 years and it's a delight. I remember many years back I started with a regular tablet, without screen. I never got any used to it and couldn't draw shit with it. A screen tablet is pretty much like an interactive canvas. What you did here is only the top of the iceberg. =)
It was certainly not a cheap purchase, but compared to how expensive Wacom ones are at that size, its a bloody bargain! I will admit I did watch allot of review vids before, and I had bought a Huion branded one some years back, which was not all that good, so I was a bit wary about getting an off-brand one, but so far I am not regretting it! I aint used a Wacom monitor before, but have one of their Bamboo tablets which does the trick, the only other screen drawing kit I have is a Microsoft Surface Pro, which whilst is amazing, its just a lil too tiny to spend hours drawing on. I'm really looking forward to working more with this new XP-PEN one =]
