trust doesn't rust/ooo god no.
People like me get around more than some people might think probably helps that I'm a lot older than I look.u are a traveler like myself. And you usually end up in interesting places.i cot wind of this interesting group called the Knight foundation working on a pretty interesting little project. At one point the first model didn't turn out so well. Little dabbling here and there ad i managed to get myself involved in production of the second generation prototype.it turned out better than even I expected, given what they were working with.the thing even eventually figured me out as not exactly being local .told hem ide look hem up down the line, which ended up proving more difficult than I thought given everything ended up getting redacted at some point files destroyed and everything. Was barely any trace of the Knight foundation, let alone their work with ai research.what happened to f.l.a.g was a even bigger mystery so finding my old friend, till quite a bit of scratching around in a few years longer than I expected. What you can see in the picture was definitely not what I expected either.i figured he'd end up being put to work someplace fitting given the kind of research and development and how everything was going.i suspect it just boil down to people weren't ready to admit this level of technology.but still seeig hem like this is not easy.body looks too be completely unsalvageable but i think there's enough left of kitt too salvage the actual ai. trick is too figure out how to go about replacing the body with out the kind of resources available with the Knight foundation. do have my company car i suppose that would be something to work with and i dose Shield will notice.
this is a Knight Rider model Pontiac from the 80s.u unfortunately can't see from the picture but it even has the bowling ball hubcaps and if I are member correctly the right interior as featured in the series. The vehicle is rotten beyond any hope of restoration. Been meaning to get a picture for several years, but it's pretty difficult, especially given its location and the paranoia of the owner. At one point I tried to buy the car around 10 years ago person insisted the car was too valuable and merely needed tires and brake lines and that there was nothing wrong with it and it wasn't hurting it where it was sitting claiming the car was worth around five grand. At that point I was literally trying to get the car to hopefully salvage the little 305 that was in it and part out what was salvageable. The car is literally completely. At that point rotted right out. The engine was almost falling out on the ground. From what I can tell there's nothing under the carpets at all the sub frame and everything is completely gone. The interior engine bonnet hat back spoiler rams and hubcaps are all still salvageable, but that's about it other than things like the brake lights. I've literally seen people taking Irocks and converting them into Knight Rider replicas so I wouldn't be surprised if somebody tried to do a Knight Rider replica would take something like this and strip it down for the majority of pieces that are there. I've seen people charging several hundred dollars just for one of those bowling ball hubcaps , let alone the rims and all Complete set of four.the car is settled into the ground. So badly this was about the only picture I could get.it reminded me of some referencing. They made in the Knight Rider 2000 movie they never actually show the condition of the car and all they do was bring out a shoebox of electronic pieces handing it to Michael Knight when he requested access to kitt after this big production about. They had trouble finding any trace of the vehicle and some statement about there wasn't exactly oil on the dipstick when he retired. So what did he expect. One of the weird little quirks about that movie was somehow Michael Knight suddenly had the technological know-how to take said box of resister's and microchips and solder the parts back together to make kitt work yet in the series, he barely seem to know how to even drive a car. now question is how do I go about taking the latest in 1980s government technology and converting it to work in the latest automotive technology 2006 had to offer.

Those Trans-Am's really have to be kept up by dedicated hobbyist whom are not afraid to get their hands dirty. And keeping them out of severe weather will go a whole lot further. Those sun roofs proved to be horror stories at keeping out the rain. Which meant utter rust damage was slowly imminent. Sadly, if one leaves a car like that in the weeds for years, it's going to become a planter that is held together by the paint job.
With the recent passing of Burt Reynolds, I do believe a life long fan has just given up his Trans-Am collection. As, on my way to work the other day, I passed not one, but two 'for sale' Trans-Am's. Didn't pull over or get a good look at them. But, one was an 80's black paint model. The other was more Bandit style. Been meaning to stop and take a couple photos. But, I'm too often going from point A to point B as I drive by. Nor can I be certain that the owner has been living locally for a long time. As this weather environment is aimed to destroy practically everything that is man made with enough time.

that one in the picture quite literally the paint is the only thing holding it together. I picked up one a few years ago for scrap too get the transmission off of it and a few other things it split in half. When the tow truck tried to move it. I kid you not. The entire floor section and everything broke away from the car, the only thing holding the two sections together to eventually get it on the tow truck was the middle section of the T-bar roof. Basically there was that one bar of metal laughed and nothing else. Rear end broke off of the car when they were moving it, and so on.the engine ran just fine.i took quite a bit of pieces off that car and over the period of a couple years sold to people here and there. The one in the picture. Like I said I tried to get it at one point nearly 10 years ago and it was completely destroyed then was looking at salvaging what I could off of it so other people could use the stuff.
Like I said, the person won't sell it. Several people have asked. I've got a really rotten history with these cars. I rocks Camaro, Firebird Trans Am and so forth. Every time I try to get one. I keep getting screwed over between the person selling it to somebody else. At half the price just to kiss me off or not answering their phone and then selling it to somebody else and all sorts of weird crap over the years missed having one for free in good shape. Several times as another example. Came across the 90 something model that they used in Knight Rider 2000 this morning. Damn car is rust free and the idiot listed for 900 car is on the road being driven I'm willing to bet money it sells within 20 min. The 90s ones you usually see jacked up selling around three grand and they're not even repairable . Closest I am having one is I've got spoiler off of an 84 the dartboard rims off of a couple of 1970s Firebirds 1970s Firebirds Shaker and the steering wheel on the 1970s, Firebird and the steering wheel out of any four Firebird.
