A play on the word "Lepidoptera" which is the scientific name for moths/butterflies.

Lepidop is like the last little flare of a dying sun. Which left him alone for and scared for a very long time after it finally burnt out completely.
It isn't until by pure chance running into
's Cassio that things finally turn around for him.
Cassio doesn't know what he is at first, until doing his research and putting it together what Lepidop may be. Knowing how traumatic his experience must have been, he let's Lepidop take his time to stay and recover.
Lepidop is also very smol.

And yet he still opts to try and help out when he can, like dusting one of Cassio's bookcases (even if it takes him all day to get it done) because he wants to try and take care of Cassio in return for taking care of him.
and there's just.
something so got'damn heartbreaking about this little ball of space plasma trying his downright best to take care of someone who's literally the best in the universe at taking care of people.
-reclines in my seat with a deep sigh-
and all that just kinda reflects how I feel right now. My head's been through the wringer this year, and my mental state is still a little up and down. So while Mizu is the main breadwinner and I'm at home, I just want to do everything I can to take care of them, the home, pets, etc. Because if anybody deserves to be pampered when they get home, it's someone who I see as the master of caring for those who need caring for.
