ah him. I have a copy of that. The problem is his lower body is very low polly

How low poly, though?

Wii-era low poly, due to that only his upper body is visible during the fight, the lower half intentionally made like such to make him easier to handle on the Switch's systems.

Ah, right, would it be possible to bump up the lower body's polygon count at all? I do think he'd look stunning getting blown up

A lot more difficult than you think. It's not just the poly count that is low, it's also the texture resolution for said portion of the body. Someone would have to redo those from scratch to make them even remotely similar to that of the upper half.

again, his legs are extremely low polly. they just wouldn't look nice without me swaping in new ones, or making new ones. also, i don't really feel like doing anything with him at this point in time

Knowing who this was for I could tell who was gonna "win". though it seems both lost, but I am happy that King Koopa became bigger in the end. (he needs more love)

While I think Bowser would win, we still got to see inflated reptiles so who cares?

This was really well made man. No slow down and the entire scene played out really smoothly. Also liked your interpretation of how they both popped. It was quite amusing to also see them interact with one another, but also how King Koopa acted once he took center stage. Gave it all a lot more life and activity. Good job on the sound effects too, the added hisses behind the pumps matched well to how big they were getting and was a treat to hear.
