While usually confused with the mythological figure, Anubis only carries his name.
Profile: Anubis is a modern day Anubian Jackal. During daytime he takes simple jobs. During nighttime, he becomes a demon hunter like his fore fathers once were. He has taken this path as a way to learn more about his past. A past that his own parents refuses to bring up. On his line of work as demon hunter, he also gets the satisfaction to help others who might be facing trouble of demonic origin.
Clothing: For regular activities, he carries simple gear such as camo pants with a nylon belt. He also carries a military scarf/Shemagh to help keep his short furred self warm during cold city nights. For sneaking missions, he wears black pants and black Shemagh. This hides his face and camouflages his dark furred body in the shadows. This works perfect to investigate key locations.
He carries an armbands made out of ritualistic tree barks. He also wears leather bands on his right wrist and left ankle. Some of them have blessed demonic bones carved with holy runes. These artifacts work as protection charms against demonic attacks.
Blade: The blade he carries is a saber made out a silver alloy. It is particularly effective against demons thanks to its properties. But most important, it is the only clue left behind by Anubis's forefathers. This makes this blade his most treasured belonging.
Holy Hieroglyphs: The blue painting on his left eye and lower back is a sacred tincture. The eye rune is a holy symbol with the power to see through demonic auras. The blue symbols on his back are protection hieroglyphs. They function as a safeguard against surprise demonic attacks.
Extra: Due to his build, he is more agile than strong. Thus, he's good at sneaking and/or dodging physical attacks. His protection charms grants him a bit of extra protection towards demonic attacks too. On the downside, they also make him a bit more susceptible to mental attacks/tricks like hypnosis, mental illusions and similar.
