I did a popularity poll for Sinfonia characters a few months back after I posted the demo and Claude and Walter basically had a tie for the so-far-most-popular character so I had to draw them together. I actually started this months back but felt like it's too Christmas-y in feeling but then decided against it so I could practice a few new things.

Claude and Walter don't actually like each other at all and especially Walter is very openly hostile towards Claude, thinking he's wasting his skills by cheaply flirting with the other boys when he could be so much more. Claude, while not necessarily as hostile towards Walter, likewise thinks Walter is wasting his skills acting like a fool when he could get so much further in life if he learned to wrap others around his finger. In other words, the two of them are so alike they see their own bad traits in each other and thus don't get along. Also, Claude once outsmarted Walter and Walter is the type to hold grudges :') '
