I have been watching the Harry Potter movies again today, well the first three that is, and once again they got me -besides the really terrible werewolf design- and I looked up my old wand design (lower left corner). Also I browsed the official pottermore.com and what my wand turned out to look like there is now in the lower right corner together with all the stats of it. Turns out I have a wand made of yew wood with a Phoenix feather core, so quite neat if you ask me. Now I imagine that the site is of course a bit limited in what the wands look like there. So I tried to make my own design based on my pottermore wand and the older, more simple design I had made a while back. My old design was a bit more inspired by the first two movies where my new design is now a little more free in it's appearance.
If you also want to see what your wand looks like, or maybe what your Hogwarts House or Ilvermorny House is (btw mine is Ravenclaw and Thunderbird what I'm quite happy about) or maybe if you just want to dig a little more into the lore, I highly recommend you this site. You can even make a test for your patronus. Mine turns out to be a Dun Stallion. Maybe not the most fiercesome magical creature, but nothing wrong with a strong wild stallion right?
What are your results on those things? Any fellow Ravenclaw or Thunderbird students here?
