Amur leopards are truly wonderful creatures to look at. A shame there's only a couple dozen left in the wild. :(

Picture taken at the Zoo Leipzig of their female cat, Mia. Out of all the pictures (couple hundred of the 1924 I took during my visit there, I reckon) I took of her, this one's probably my favourite.

I've actually touched up this picture a bit more so I could have it printed; the painted look is from noise reduction smoothing things out a bit toooo much. A bit more saturated for sure. I like the look of this one as it is and I'd rather not exchange the file, but if you want, I'll share that version with you too (also in a higher res since, well, this one's a lot smaller than the actual image). ^.^

Oh cool :D And good to know about the smoothing. I'm a photography n00b, but lighting/composition work always delights me.
