A moment caught in time, the boys' laughter carrying through the field, unaware of the transformation taking place. They think their friend holding the camera is just laughing at their antics. When in reality she just played a pretty great prank and now has the evidence to prove it. Hey, they don't call it skunk weed for nothin'.

A piece I did for Skunktember! Inspired by old photos from my husband's photo album. He and his cousin enjoying their summers in the 80s. I never got to meet his cousin, but he was a real sweet guy, a class clown if there ever was one. I feel like I know him through all the stories my husband tells me. This is for him in a way, because I know he would have gotten a kick out of it. (Apparently we was quite the connoisseur of cannabis.)
I will post the orignal colors to my scraps as this is an "aged" version. Going for a snap shot from the era. ^-^
