You'll get to see this chap - with clothes on - next update (Monday 19th October) when all shall be revealed. There will be a normal comic update today (5th October) when I've had my lunch, which I'm off to have now.
Juan is a Bongo from Spain and one of the many unmentioned characters in the TBND world. Although he's coming in quite late in book 3, he does mark a slight change in the way TBND is going to run.
One of my main problems is not having enough characters to make the comic varied and interesting to me as an artist so, with that in mind, TBND4 (a working title) is going to showcase a lot more characters. I think expanding beyond Tom and Jack is going to be a good idea and readers will get a chance to meet their friends, family and even enemies.
I'm hoping TBND4 will give a better view of the world in which the comic is set and give readers a clearer idea of what Brightpool is actually like. I may even do a sort of tourist map with key points of interest in part for my own reference but also to make things a little clearer.
