For my taste, much versions are too much "humanized", or "general furry like" Human legs and feet, no tomoe, five fingers, distinct muzzle... It's like she retains only the general colors of the original digimon.

Agree that most of them are far too 'human' lol..then again the furry fandom * is* a fandom for humanized animals and the majority of her fans are furries so it make sense(I just don't care for it for the most part ), its just interesting so many people latched on to her character but at the same time draw it so far off model( unlike someone like Karabiner or certain DoomWolf pictures.) most the time its so different it strange that they just don't don't make an OC to begin with ..unless they have fetish for her colors ect or something or the idea of drawing a 'furry icon' even if well its barely 'Renamon'. ..:P

Which is why I think the 'furry' Renamon is its own entity pretty much .. a more humanized/ and or over- sexualized instrument of furries :P.

Yeah, I agree. Obviously almost all the furries have a human shape from the neck to the elbows and knees. Only the extremities vary, and the original Renamon too follows this rule. But she has some very distinctive feature (the three digits, the mane-chest tuft, the ogival head and so on) that seems to be left out too often. Once it bothered me when she was drawn without the tomoe on the legs, that are so distinctive of her character. She just seemed a generic yellow-white furry.

Apparently, it's a consistent thing. Renamon simply didn't happen to get exposed in Digimon Tamers. Also, for some reason this site always likes breaking up links.

But, IE, the Bandai Renamon plush, that's equally official, doesn't have boobs.
As said, there could be different official depictions of the same character.

You mean this plush? This really, really chibi plush? Of course it doesn't have boobs: Renamon's canon tits are actually small (much unlike the fanarts), and in chibi style they just disappear. Unlike the plush, though, there's every reason to believe that her official statuette would have all the details.

Maybe she has, but, since they had never been visible in all the third season of Digimon, plus all the extras and related works first than that figure, is that important if she has or not a couple of tiny boobs? Unless someone decides to shave her...

She probably has, but, unless you are planning to draw her withut clothes, she can be a statistic anomaly too (see the Schrödinger's cat).

Thank you (and sorry for the late reply)! Yeah, to do this I checked a lot of official art and tutorials. The credit to have made me notice the spots in yin-yang symbol were triangle shaped is of Iisaw on Deviantart , author of this tutorial ( https://www.deviantart.com/iisaw/ar.....tions-99626979 ). I never realised it watching the show.

Always nice to see some artists still draw the "neutral" Canon Renamon.
I actually appreciate this version even more because I've grew up with the german dub version where Renamon is actually voiced by a male VA.
