Ever had those times you find yourself hating positive comments? I'll admit I'm bothered by some comments on Deviantart, but it's not that bad. I get few on my artwork, but, when I do, it's often something vague like "This is cool." I'd like more than that, What about it am I doing good? This is why even welcome hate comments, they may say something bad, but if they can point out a flaw, I can learn from it and work on it.. Sorry about the rant, back on subject.
It's taken to another level at college. I have found issues with the recent books I had to read and commented my thoughts online, but I get praise for it. And I don't think they even agree, because I check their thoughts on it for when they don't look at other people's comments and they also praise the story. COME ON! Can't you find anything wrong with the story you just read? Am I an idiot who can't see perfection? It's Annoying to see only happiness without reason. Please, insult it! Insult me! I want to know if my thoughts are false, tell me why I'm wrong so I can get a new kind of perspective!
Huh, a college days is now a vent... sorry for that.. I just had to.

Ughh, tell me about it. I know just how you feel. It’s frustrating when people only ever comment single word answers. I never know what people are actually thinking.
People seem to become sheep when they are faced with someone else’s opinion. They will often just agree with them so they aren’t shamed by the person presenting the information.
Example, I was at a convention and there was this comedian who, while he was on stage said that he didn’t like Chris Farley and that he didn’t think he was funny. He asked the audience “who here liked his comedy?” I of course love Chris Farley and found him to be hilarious, so I raised my hand. I looked around and noticed that I was the only one. There were a lot of other people that sort of had there hands raised but they were all shy and nervous and didn’t want to.
Basically the entire room had to alter their opinion on how they may have felt simply because the guy on stage said he had a specific opinion. My view on that is fuck you, why should I change what I like simply because he doesn’t like it. I have the right to my own opinion, but the room was too scared to challenge someone.
