I've had packages where I wished like the dickens I had sharp claws and very lon teeth!

*laughs* who hasn't? :) I love those which have a little zipper-opener. it's rare I open them without spilling the contents. :)

ARG I hate packages I can't open! That's the real reason i keep  Atraties around...jar opening =P LOL Dispair is exactly how I feel!

there is a nifty trick to jar opening, which works only with fluid contents, though. turn it upside down and hit it on the bottom with a hand. when you hear a smacking sound the lid seal has been lifted off the glass rim through that action and it makes openign far easier, since the silicone tends to stick firmly to the glass.
you need a good grip, though. large jars can be too heavy to be held with one hand..
