REFLECTING POOL

Passing through the Court of the Nile, you arrive in the hall with a simple rectangular pool.

The pool is long and rectangular, and the edges of it are covered in hieroglyphics. The inscriptions have worn from the erosion of water and sand, but it is clear this was once a place of worship as well. The pool ripples, as something unseen moves beneath the surface. You lean in for a closer look.

At once shapes rise to the surface, breaking the surface and staring back at you. A chorus of croaking erupts as frogs reach the surface, drawing you toward them. You stumble forward, slipping and falling into the pool. The frogs surround you, and you feel a deep rumbling within you, that escapes your mouth, as a loud croak as you sink.

Your skin turns green, and your eyes and body reshape, hands and feet web. The frogs have mad you their new pharaoh. Rising back to the surface, you have become the FROG
