SHRINE OF THE DESERT

Trudging through sands you can see the entire roof collapsed, and much of the walls in the passage have fallen in. At last you come to the end of the broken passage in an external area that was clearly once enclosed. The court is completely ruined and columns lay buried in sand. The statues and the paintings have all vanished to the ages, ruined passages trail off, but your eyes are drawn to a standing black door at the end of the room.

The door gives way to a dark chamber, coated with sand on the ground, but easily the best-preserved room in the area. The walls are painted red, and glyphs glitter in the darkness. A single Altar stands against the back wall, glowing in the darkened room.

You approach the altar, seeing images of a strange animal carved into the wall, bearing knives, the strange beast with no name. That gray beast with glowing eyes… the same eyes you now possess. Your body swells with the unholy glow of that altar, granting your strength, and the anger of a forsaken deity. Your skin is covered in gray fur, arms and legs becoming canid, and clawed. As the darkness fortifies you, you have become the SET ANIMAL
