These are my old Riedell ice skates— these good old babies have seen a lot of days out on the ice. The blades are nearly at the end of their sharpening days and all the padding on the inside has been smashed flat from jump after jump, but they’re still my favorite ones I’ve ever had. I can’t wear them to shows anymore and lord knows jumping combos in them is asking for a broken ankle, but they’re never unprepared for a public skate session after some coffee on a nice, cold day. I take care of them like crazy because I’m terrified of the day that I have to tie the laces together and hang them up for good— I owe a lot of progress to these guys <3
