While this card's converted mana cost is too low, I do approve of the design.

Oh, and I mean I have artifacts in my deck that aren't Esper to help round it out.

First off, it's a legendary Mythic Rare, as a magic player, some of these mythic legends are ungodly awesome far beyond even his power.

Second, no commission, this is absolutely free, and I plan on keeping it that way, if you two players want me to make you guys cards, I am more then willing to do it.

I plan outside of tourney, VERY casual, My deck has cards from about a dozen sets. While I might have the might for tourney, I don't think so, I prefer casual play, and my deck is a living reminder of my personality.

As for your second topic, you can come to me to help you make a balanced card, or at least, decently balanced. We can brainstorm your character, avatar, or just funny idea to sorcery on someone!

Well, I'll have to agree with your first point. Sphinx of the Steel Wind and Sharuum the Hegemon make me squeal with delight when I combine them with Sphinx Summoner, Master Transmuter, and Master of Etherium. Add in some Tidehollow Scullers, a couple Scourglass, and an Ethersworn Shieldmage, and 4 mana becomes an almost unstoppable powerhouse.

I was wondering if it was a commission or not, and that's cool that it isn't. I've already come up with a card idea, and would enjoy talking with you about it. Some other time, though.

I personally don't know Usshun, though, so I can't say I'd nom him. :P

Ohh, I have several cards to help protect my creatures. Cancel, Negate, Path to Exile, Tidehollow Strix... don't forget, Scourglass' ability is instant, so is Master Transmuter's. The deck isn't perfect, but it's hard to top once the bottom rung is played.

Deathbringer/Unscythe is a great combo, though, as is Mind Control and Polymorph. Again, though, I have cards to stop them, and abilities to redirect targets or make them fizzle.

Yes, I know all decks have a bit of luck going with them. That's why I restricted my monster set to such a small number, so that the chance of having that combo is higher. Plus, Sculler/Strix stand alone in the early game as blockers/hand control, Cancel/Negate/Countersquall/Path to Exile/Scourglass/Ethersworn Shieldmage help control the field and give me more time, and the Sphinxes (Steel Wind, Sharuum, Summoner) can all stand by themselves.

The deck itself is based around "strength in numbers", though, so Master Transmuter, Master of Etherium, Fabricate, Arcane Sanctum, and Brainbite all help to speed up the deck and bring more numbers to bear, plus the vast majority of my cards require 4 or less mana, which also speeds things up. Against a Goblin or Soldier deck I'd have trouble, sure, but that's what Instants are for, right? :P

Oh, and why so srs? At first glance, it seems overpowered, is all.

Oh, I apologize, I don't mean to be so serious, it could be because I just take harsh words when I don't see any, he might be overpowered, I might revise him and add one more mana to him.

As for card ideas, sure, you can bounce them off of me, but you can also make your own, the program is freely and openly available, but I also love doing things like this.

And third, epic movie.

One mana more would round him out nicely. Steel Wind is 8 converted, but I have several ways to get him out early. He's not the focus of my deck, though.
