Boris Von Palish grew up in the oppressive kingdom of Ravenos.

Through his life he has worked as a guard, a mercenary, and a supervisor on a plantation. All with the hope to own a plantation of his own one day. Then one day he got a job that was promising to give him everything he wanted. He was to secretly board an airship and disable it, allowing a raiding party to take the crew and passengers captive. He was caught attempting to sabotage the engine by Mina, the engineer who designed the new engines, and Myung, her new apprentice, and was detained by them. Mina then proceeded to offer him a better lifestyle than he hoped for and hired him as a personal retainer. Upon being shown more kindness in a week than in his entire life, he's sworn to protect her no matter what.

Boris now enjoys the position of Security Minister in the colony of Saisei.
