And now for something I made :)
15" tall standing Pinkie Pie plush
Description copied from my DeviantArt:
OmiGosh, I dunno what to say. It's time to post her, and she looks amazing, and all the stuff I wanted to tell everyone about her isn't coming to me.
I was going to call her Ponkadonk, for her well shaped butt. But the full tail kinda obliterates one of her best features, haha. Trust me, this pony has booty!
I love her happy expression, the cheek bumps and cute little smile. Her ears are adorable 3D ears that spring up on their own if you try to squish them down.
Her mane and tail are perfect imo. I used multiple gussets to give the bumps roundness and volume. It was difficult in the points, but so worth it! I used a ladder stitch after stuffing her mane to make her bangs twist to the side. She didn't look right to me with a symmetrical mane and bangs. You can't even tell where I added those stitches.
The mane and tail are made from Shannon Fabrics rosette faux fur. It is so soft and gives her hair that out of control effect that is totally Pinkie. She does have the satin lines making the loops and squiggles inside her mane, but the color is so close that they're hard to see. I thought about adding thread sculpting to this mane and tail, but I like it like this.
Pinkie is not for sale -yet. She is my first standing pony and because of other commitments I will not have a pony for display for a while. So for now I'm keeping her as a display only. She will not get squished, cuddled and slept with, or anything to ruin her new condition. When I am ready, I will sell her. Just not yet.
