Some confidence for the next round.
The pilot of the business jet next to Chucky would never actually fly that close to him in an airport traffic pattern(not without getting in a lot of trouble anyway). Like in a few previous pages I'm showing things closer for dramatic effect, and it's just fun to draw.
For the non-aviation folks, and short approach is a fast and tight descent to the runway. It's usually assigned to smaller, more maneuverable aircraft to expedite traffic flow. Chucky didn't have to accept it, but he did, so he's got one more challenge.

I was going to have him take a look at it after he lands, but it's a diversion I don't want to take the time to draw. The engines are mounted rearward in the fuselage. On the side view you can see the intake and exhaust ducting there along the bottom. So of course the nosewheel would be specially shaped to deflect water away from the intake, and the airplane would have to go up on jacks for heavy maintenance.
