Jan 06- rabid doesn't even exist. This is the FIRST EVER drawing of her, all she is is a female canine with all my characters markings mixed into one. I didn't even know I was going to create her... just kind of happened.
Aug 06- First Rabid ref sheet! After that one drawing I knew I wanted to make a character that represented all of my sides, not just sad (Marmite) or angry (Rose) or whatever. Took me roughly six months to push out markings that I really liked and I felt worked for me. Her personality is still shifting at this point and is very genericly canine (pink tongue, medium length tail, long straight muzzle, normal shepard ears). Rabid and Marmite are the most commonly drawn characters of mine.
Sept 06- Now is the most drawn character I have. Working heavily on personality in order to match my own. Also working on body type (is stocky in this image) tail becomes slightly smaller as does muzzle.
April 08- After a year of work the ears become much more fennec like and starting to appear rubbery. Stylizing the body and the tail size stablizes, it also 'prefers' to be curly. I have now adopted her as my true fursona. Rabid and Kate become 'one'. Also arm bands/leg stripes change color to match sexual situations (pink for liking girls, blue for liking guys, blue and pink for normal and green for zombie/dead. they also disappear if no sexual thing is going on at all)
May 08- Tail is usually curled up. Nothing about it has changed since april. Ears are now truely rubberized. Muzzle starts to tip upward. Cheek fluff is now always messy.
Aug 08- more creature rabid work pops up. Lots of crawling on the ceiling and interesting canine work. Nose is now perminently tilted upwards and tongue is green!
Jan 09- cartoon work is hairless (on scalp) and fur becomes fluffy when Rabid is cold (as in this image) Everything about her has stabilizes, except for drawing styles which vary with my mood. =)
Aug 09- Present- rabid as we see her today. Her markings has not changed in years, however her ears are quite large and very rubbery looking. Muzzle curves up. Tongue is green and arm/leg bands may change with sexual situations, but often don't (she's pretty much always aware of being bisexual, at all times she likes both males and females). Her hair changes to match mine, as she 'is' me. Style working on anatomy and body type to match mine. Styles still change with mood but nothing about her changes.

this was very helpful ^_^ so u a canine to honest i kept thinking rabbit (cause of the big ears) XD
good thing my half of the trade wasn't actually meant to be yer fursona...else that would be a bit odd ^_~ (cause also may be a diff sex XD but that's still up in the air) haha

nice, huh? pffft!
and boy-ness is okay... my Marm character is supposed to represent me as a male... but whatever you want! Its artistic expression! =)
