“…What now?” Kon asked, sword still in hand, blood and lymph all over his armour.
There was a loud tremble. The sand under their feet started to shake and many of the ruins fell to the ground due to that contained earthquake. Something was moving. Something big. A big shadow emerged from the sand, moving it as if it had been made of sand itself and the desert was nothing but an extension of its own being. Purple rings reflected the light of the sun in the eyes of the adventurers, multiple rows of sharp teeth grinned at them from a circular mouth.
In front of them, where at first there was nothing, now stood a giant purple worm.
“…why us.” Sighed the minotaur, sword at the ready. “BINDING!”
With that word, the sword disassembled in fragments, all kept together by steel and magic. He took a few steps forward towards the beast, protecting the rest of his party with his own body. The giant worm emitted some sort of growl in his direction, almost a roar.
“Let’s see what you can do.” Kon es Kaz growled back.
