Hey there, Heather! I hope I don't offend in asking, but I remember the Ad Astra at which I saw you again, as well as for the first time Diana Stein in the Artist's Alley at the Art Show; still have the seven magnets with Diana's artwork on them, too! :) I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the second Ms. Stein (Sabrina) or her work; a daughter, or a significant other...? I enjoyed meeting Diana, and I'm very curious to ask, if you and Diana would be comfortable with the answering and clarification for me! Hope you've been well and altogether staying excellent, ami!

I thought Sabrina looked one heck of a lot like her Mum! Damn, it's weird managing it in my head that the day I remember was going on 13 or 14 years ago. :) Again, I do hope Diana, Sabrina and you and yours have been well in the meantime, Heather! One of these days, I'm going to find a place to put up the four Anubis prints I bought from you, all framed and proper by your own hand and effort, back in 2000 when Ad Astra was downtown on Dundas Street for that one year. For now, they're kept in loving care! :)
I'm sorry I've been a stranger about Ad Astra since 2006, with congoing in general, really, and so abruptly. I lost someone very close to me about three days after AA 2006, and I'm afraid the memory of that loss meshed so deeply with the events close to it and the memories thus (not you or anyone I've known at Ad Astra, but congoing itself, and the event and anticipation of attending conventions) have made it very difficult to even attempt to go to a convention or prepare for it since. I'm very sorry I didn't get up off my duff and tell you this myself in all this time passed, you being one of the longest fixtures and friends I've known at Ad Astra, and also someone I could reach easily here. I certainly owed you that, and again, I hope you don't think the less of me for my radio silence.
Here's hoping from me and mine that you and yours are in excellent spirits and state, and are thoroughly well!
I remain, your friend and fellow artist,
