STORY:
Toriel has always been a most motherly monster within The Underground. When not being a super mom to her son, Asriel, she’s spending time with the other newborn monsters within her kingdom to help them grow into model citizens.
The helpful bird in Waterfall fell in love with one of the Drakes in Snowdin. Their shared affection brought Yosh, the bird drake hybrid to life.
The weather is far too cold for Yosh to be out in Snowdin and the helpful bird is very busy carrying monsters across the gap in Waterfall. So, today, Toriel is enjoying a stroll with The Underground’s newest monster in The Ruins.
Alphys, always eager to see what may fall into The Underground, uncovered a video game called ‘Animal Crossing’. Sans got his hands on the game and found it funny to share how Yosh was his own ‘Animal Crossing’ as he is both drake and bird. Alphys found this cute and used her printer to create themed clothing for the little guy.
“Now be good,” directs Toriel. “Don’t forget to say ‘hello’ and wave at every monster you see with your little eyes.”
“Uh-huh,” he replies while being distracted by all the leaves, decorations, and new stuff he just wants to go over to taste and touch.
“Oh, sweetie,” the goat mom laughs. “You need to pay attention. It’s not safe to wander around alone.”
“Gaboo,” the toddler gurgles.
“I’ll give you candy if you’re a good boy,” she grins.
“I good,” Yosh replies while reaching to grab at a sign.
Toriel laughs.
“Yes,” she says while kindly enforcing her grip. “And you’ll make Momma’ Toriel happy if you stay that way forever-and-ever."

The little dino duck hybrid hold's mama toriel's hand for a walk, holding his other arm up, the fingers of his other hand curled up a bit, hand half closed, dressed in his animal crossing t shirt, with an animal crossing/leaf print diaper, orange Yoshi style booties and his glass, smiling happily, mouth open, he lifts one foot a bit unsteadily, ready for whatever adventures lied ahead that day.
I also added a shadow under Yosh's feet and a bit of color on the background with orange paws running across it and some yellow lines. just for a fun background.

I always see Toriel as Goatella. When I put this short story together at the end of work I had a bit of a time reminding myself I was in Undertale instead of Goatella's house. Goatella will always be the first true goat mom.

Hey, Ozzie! *Crinklesnugs* It's good to hear from you. I'm hopeful the cooler Fall weather is allowing you and Tavi to have some more fun outdoors. The summer up here in PA was just miserable between either non-stop rain, hardcore humidity, or 90+ degree weather. Autumn just feels so nice to have.
All is okay here. I'm continuing to recover post Tina leaving me. One day at a time y'know. *Shrugs*

The weather has been rainy as of late, but it never really got miserable. But then, I tend not to go out as much during summer. Maybe Tavi and I can go for a nice walk in the park again soon. ^^

*Shrugs* I doubt I'll see much of Tina as time passes. Even my therapist, while Tina was in the room, admitted she'll be gone more-and-more. She has her girlfriend and spends a notable amount of time with her. However I do get a lot of time with Ethan. We're actually going to an amusement park tomorrow that is hosted by my company. It'll be the first time I rode a ride in over 7 years!

Oh! *Blush* I FINALLY got hired to work in a Customer Care department for a company that runs a series of grocery store chains down the East Coast. I help people with issues relating to their Bonus Cards and making the web site / app work.
My first day was on May 29th. So happy I got four months in. The only thing holding me back is how some software, no surprise, is not accessible to my blind-friendly software. We are trying to come up with work arounds for this.
Is Tavi still doing a lot of great art with fun themes? I miss being able to see the cool concepts he comes up with throughout the year for various cubs.

Yay! I'm glad you were able to find work. I'm sure they will be able to figure out how to get the software to work.
Yeah, he is, but he's also been busy doing things around the house. The house has needed some work done and we have a new room mate that has needed his help a lot. So I try not to bother him too much so he can get some art work done.

What would you say was your favorite theme that Tavi did this year? I'd love to hear a description of something you'd consider to be super cool from our fave artistic 'munk.
My company is really trying to work with me. They actually brought me on as their first-ever blind hire! So I'm setting the standard for bringing other blind people on to be a part of the company. I do hope I can encourage them to consider as so many blind people, like me, need work but are denied because of how people perceive blindness.

It's truly fascinating how so many cuddly and furry friends are working against medical situations and/or debt. Though it also is nice to know how we've all been able to create a support group that doesn't fester on these facts but, instead, tries to help get everyone through.
This brings me to talk on how, a bit ago, I saw Equestria Daily, (MLP: FiM Site) have a poll that asked if Bronies see themselves as Furries. The poll ended in 'No' but it's definitely not true. Brony, at it's purest, is "Love & Tolerate" and those are things we've done here as furries well before 2010. We even take it to another level by working to these goals without any real aim at self-elevation. Some of us do get more noticed than others but we all play our 'little' parts. :)

lucca does very adorable arts. One of the last I was able to physically see is actually a cover art for a story on FiM Fiction. It's a pic of Spike for the story "Maternal Bonds Of eternal Friendship".Thanks for checking it out and sharing your thoughts, Jordan. Hearing what you have to say helps me paint an even better mental image and that in itself makes me smile. :)
Glad you enjoyed them, my friend. lucca does really cute work and, when possible, I do like to commission her to help put some color to a story. Writing tales for pictures has always been something I find particularly fun.
