Named3. All realized with black ballpoint pen. Stay tuned for the colored version!
Sin-Eater is an individual who should have died but didn't because they made a bargain with a Geist (ghost/spirit thing) and basically merged souls with it. Spake, the protagonist of this drawing, should have died of smoke inhalation when the poorly maintained club he went to became an inferno but he made the Bargain and thanks to it still walks. Now one thing about the Bargain is that the Geist allows the Bound (person its attached to) to use some of its powers- like fire, passion, and illusion. The price paid is that the Geist is an often terrifying entity that basically persistently whispers to the Bound what twisted things it wants to do.
We decided for a "strong" perspective in order to give a sort of drama to the scene. For the Geist, we thought to give it a head similar to the skull of a lion (obviously when it will be colored it will be all smoky-translucent) for a juxtaposition with the appearance of Spake.
Drawn while listening in loop to this acoustic version of "Voices". Because yes. No, we are not Randy Orton fans: it's just that this song felt perfect for this scene.
